FCBescola Shares Its Educational Model With Us

Tolerance, respect and solidarity are essential values that are taught through the practice of this sport. With the development of socio-emotional skills through cultural, artistic and sports activities, we want to meet one of the objectives of our Intervention Model. More specifically, within the “Tools for Life” axis, we seek to promote processes of personal growth and sustainable development. This is why we have created an alliance with FCBEscola.

FCBEscola is the sports school of the Fútbol Club Barcelona, aimed at children between 3 and 18 years old. This school has a worldwide presence and its methodology is based on transmitting values such as: tolerance, respect, solidarity, camaraderie, citizenship, integration and teamwork, through the teaching of the basic principles of futbol.

In the development of this alliance, FCBEscola held training sessions and sports training for sports technicians and children from the cities of Quibdó and Cartagena. 250 students benefited from these sessions. In addition, more than 20 sports leaders and technicians from sports schools and sports clubs also received training so that they could bring these methods for recognition of values through sports practices to many more children.

Why do we care about sports?

Together with FC Barcelona we believe that fútbol and physical activity can serve as tools and agents of change to stimulate children and young people in vulnerable situations. Sports promote values such as cooperation and staying positive both individually and collectively.

We are happy and full of motivation that the participants were able to learn sports techniques, especially because they promote good values and the development of social skills. We are deeply grateful to FCBEscola for this beautiful initiative, which is definitely leaving its mark. We invite you to learn more about its methodology on their website.
