In 2020, the Pies Descalzos Foundation has guaranteed the necessary support to teachers, the educational community, and students to continue with the teaching-learning processes from home. It has worked to continue advancing with alliances that represent an important contribution to each of the missions of the organization and, of course, has been strengthened as a team with the firm intention of continuing to walk together to turn the present of education into a better future.

And it is that each step is a joint achievement thanks to donors, volunteers, and allies who with their contributions have made it possible for us to reach more children and young people from vulnerable populations in Cartagena, Barranquilla, and Quibdó.

Education is the key, paint it color

For all the above, the Pies Descalzos Foundation is already preparing for 2021, and that is how it was born: “Education is the key, paint it with color”, a support campaign whose resources will contribute to access to quality education for children , girls and young people so that they continue to advance in the construction of their life projects.

Dreams and goals that they themselves were in charge of capturing in drawings that will be sent to the email of each donor as a beautiful Christmas gift that will serve to continue inspiring hearts and highlight that education is the key.

We know that 2020 has not been an easy year, but we have learned that solidarity and believing in a cause can make a big difference, that is why this initiative seeks contributions from 12 thousand pesos so that more and more people around the world can join and feel part of this special purpose.

“For us it is very important to carry out campaigns like these because first, it is a way of projecting ourselves to work for specific objectives and, second, because each person who makes a contribution is one more member of the Pies Descalzos family that believes and grows to continue in the path of transforming realities, ”stated Patricia Sierra, Executive Director of the Foundation.
