Shakira, FPD, and EAC will benefit 54,000 children in Colombia

During the World Summit on Educational Innovation, held in Doha (Qatar), Shakira announced the partnership between Fundación Pies Descalzos and Educate a Child. This agreement, which will last three years, will aim to provide access and educational permanence to 54,000 children in Colombia.
The two foundations signed an agreement for 34,000 Colombian children outside the school system to access the education and another 20,000 elementary school students at risk of dropping out of school. Mozah Bint Nasser, former complainant from Qatar; It agrees with the work that the singer has been doing and showed her interest in contributing to the education of children in Colombia, through the Qatar Foundation and the Education Above All Foundation.
The project resulting from this agreement is called “ALL TO SCHOOL”; It will take place in Barranquilla, Cartagena, Chocó, Medellín and border areas such as Guajira, Norte de Santander and Arauca, and will also contribute to the construction of an early childhood center for 300 children between 0 and 5 years old.
