One of the objectives of Pies Descalzos is for students to learn a second language. Projects to meet this objective are implemented in the classrooms through volunteering and programs that are specifically designed for learning English.

For this occasion, the students have had the opportunity to use Lingokids, a bilingual and technological program that works through an application available on smartphones and tablets.

How does it work?

Lingokids allows students ages 2 to 8 to have an English language learning experience by providing interactive games, songs, videos, traceable writing and direct instructions. With this application, learning is both entertaining and intense. It is also accessible to both native English speakers and non-English speakers around the world.

With this program we do not only have learning, but also a motivation to learn. Both the children and the teaching team know that mastery and knowledge of a second language is fundamental in quality education.
