To articulate the programs and projects of SENA with the Barefoot Foundation, we signed an alliance that will promote the transfer of knowledge to educational communities in which both institutions are present for the development of learning skills. We will enable millions of young Colombians to fulfill their dreams.

The main beneficiaries of this articulation will be children, young people, parents, and caregivers in the departments of Chocó, Norte de Santander, and La Guajira, where the educational institutions supported by the Foundation are located and where SENA reaches with the deployment of its training programs.

“We are going to advance joint technical and high school training actions so that the country’s young people and families have real possibilities of entering the labor market. We want to reach all the most vulnerable territories where ‘Pies Descalzos’ and SENA are located,” said Patricia Sierra.

To this end, SENA will strengthen its efforts and human, technological, and physical resources to improve young people’s quality of life and contribute to Colombia becoming a PES, a country with the highest level of human, technological, and physical resources.
