Educational Institution Fundación Pies Descalzos – Corregimiento La Playa

Located in the village Eduardo Santos - La Playa. Most of the inhabitants are displaced from neighboring areas of the Atlantic, such as, Magdalena, Sucre and Bolivar.

The Public School was built by the Pies Descalzos Foundation and opened in 2009, it now serves 1,469 children, youth and families.

Its facilities now have: a theater, an auditorium, a library, a games room, four computer labs and 48 classrooms, including vocational and dance classrooms. 54 teachers work there and its licensed Rector is Néstor Martínez.

So far, two classes of students have graduated.
